Why choose a design and build partner for your hospitality project?
Liteco Hospitality brings interior design, kitchen planning, equipment supply and construction together under one team. Instead of clients managing multiple consultants and suppliers, every stage is managed through a single streamlined process. This leads to more practical design decisions, strong alignment between front and back of house and smoother project delivery. It also reduces coordination risk, minimises variations during construction, and supports better cost control through early stage integration of design, equipment and build requirements.
Do you handle council and compliance coordination?
We coordinate council approvals and compliance requirements as part of the overall project process. This may include navigating planning and building approvals (DA & CDC), accessibility requirements, services coordination and other authority obligations depending on the site and scope. We act as the central point of contact throughout the project, liaising with consultants and key stakeholders including the PCA (Certifier), engineers and relevant authorities to support smooth design development and ensure compliance requirements are considered early. Our role is to help streamline coordination, manage approvals efficiently and keep the project progressing smoothly.
How much does a hospitality fitout cost?
Hospitality fitout costs in Sydney vary depending on design complexity, venue size, existing building shell, kitchen requirements, equipment selection and overall scope. A café fitout will differ significantly from a premium dining venue or central production kitchen. We tailor each project to its operational requirements and commercial objectives, developing a clear, realistic budget aligned with design intent and long-term performance rather than a generic estimate. If you can share your project brief, we can discuss the expected project cost and investment range in more detail, tailored to your business requirements, operational goals and site size.
How early should we involve you in a project?
The earlier, the better – ideally during site selection or lease negotiation. Involving us at this stage helps identify operational, compliance, services and budget considerations before commitments are made, including reviewing key building infrastructure requirements such as grease traps, kitchen exhaust provisions, floor wastes and other essential services that may impact the project. Early integration helps reduce variations, improve cost control and create a more seamless, commercially managed project journey.
Do you do 3D design and visualisation?
Yes. We provide 3D visualisations as part of the design process to help you clearly understand the space, layout, and customer experience before construction begins. These are delivered alongside detailed design documentation, ensuring both visual clarity and technical accuracy throughout the project development stage.
How long does the design process take?
On average, the design process takes around 6 – 8 weeks depending on project size, complexity and approval requirements. Smaller projects can be completed in approximately 3 – 4 weeks, particularly where scope is straightforward and approvals are minimal.
How long does the fitout take?
Fitout duration typically averages 8 – 10 weeks depending on scale, site conditions and complexity of the build. Smaller projects can be completed in approximately 4 – 6 weeks where scope and coordination requirements are more streamlined.
Do you manage commercial kitchen equipment selection and procurement?
Yes. We manage the specification and procurement of commercial kitchen equipment as part of our end-to-end hospitality design and build service. This includes selecting equipment based on your menu, operational requirements and spatial constraints, ensuring each item is fit for purpose and aligned with the overall kitchen function and workflow.
Do you work on refurbishments and upgrades of existing venues?
Yes. We work with existing hospitality venues to reconfigure layouts, upgrade spaces and improve operational flow, functionality and overall guest experience. We can assist in redeveloping the design concept and modernising venues to align with current design trends, operational needs and compliance requirements, while still retaining and respecting the venue’s original character and identity.
Do you collaborate with architects and builders on projects?
Yes. On larger, multi-stakeholder projects, we work alongside architects, builders and consultants as the hospitality specialist focused on operational outcomes. We take responsibility for the interior and commercial kitchen components, ensuring they are fully coordinated with the architectural plans and integrated from the outset. This collaborative approach supports the wider design and construction team while ensuring the venue functions efficiently and performs as intended in real world operation.
Do you take on small scale projects?
Yes. We take on hospitality projects of all sizes, including small kiosks within shopping centres and street front shop tenancies through to larger hospitality developments. Regardless of scale, we apply the same considered approach to operational design, compliance and commercial planning to ensure the space is functional, efficient, and commercially viable.
Can we view your past projects?
Yes. We can share our project portfolio showcasing a range of completed hospitality venues. This provides insight into our design approach, operational thinking and the types of projects we have delivered across hospitality and foodservice spaces.
